Applied Science and Humanities

The Department of Applied Science and Humanities prepares students for core engineering branches by educating them in the basic science theories and basic management principles that are indispensable for the engineering community. Applied science is a bridge that connects pure, basic science like physics or chemistry with engineering practices. This department consists of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

VISION

To be a department of excellence in providing a strong foundation of Mathematics, basic sciences, Managerial skills, and Professional Ethics which are fundamentals in engineering and technology.

MISSION

• To strengthen engineering education with the help of tools and laboratories for teaching mathematics and basic sciences.
• To modulate the soft skills and management skills of students to work as competent women engineers with high moral values and ethics.
